Data, Models, and Decisions: Statistics Empowers Future Business

Statistics is a discipline that uses samples to infer characteristics of a research subject. Derived from the Latin word for government (status), statistics was originally associated with various data and charts presented on national economies, demographics, and politics. With the rapid development and widespread application of statistics, its practical applications have significantly expanded, including data analysis. Whether understanding customer needs, optimizing operations, or predicting future trends, data thinking and statistical methods are essential skills for businesses and individuals.
