Ming Chuan University visits Oneworld Hanxin College
A delegation of 11 people, led by Dr. Lee Chuan, President of Ming Chuan University, and accompanied by Ms. Pui Ting, President of the Ming Chuan University Alumni Association of Malaysia, visited Oneworld Hanxin College on the morning of the 25th of this month for educational exchange. Representatives from both sides discussed the development direction of media and communication education in a friendly atmosphere and exchanged views on various educational issues.The exchange took place at 10:00 AM in the Hanxin Hall. In his welcoming remarks, Tan In Fong, MD of Oneworld Hanxin College, thanked the Ming Chuan University team for their visit, describing it as a "high-profile" delegation. He expressed his hope for continued interaction of both to jointly promote educational and cultural exchange, and for this exchange to be further deepened over the next 10 to 30 years.
CEO Jennifer Tan emphasized that this visit was not merely a formality, but also a chance to deepen friendship, inspire creativity, and explore new opportunities. She recalled that the two parties have maintained a friendship for over twenty years, collaborating since 2001 to allow Hanxin graduates to pursue further studies at Ming Chuan University through credit transfer.
In his address, President Lee Chuan emphasized that Ming Chuan University is a student-centered institution, valuing individual differences and needs, and providing comprehensive guidance and support. He noted that its approximately 190,000 alumni are located on every continent except the North and South Poles.
Simultaneously, Ming Chuan University and Oneworld Hanxin Education Sdn Bhd held a signing ceremony for Master's Degree Program in Malaysia. Dr. Li Lanyu, Vice President for International Affairs of Ming Chuan University, and Chairman Tan In Fong of Oneworld Hanxin Education Sdn Bhd, witnessed by President Lee Hsuan-Shih and Jennifer Tan, signed the cooperation agreement on behalf of their respective institutions, marking a new milestone in their exchange and cooperation.
Following the signing ceremony, the two sides exchanged souvenirs, took photos, and visited the Hanxin College to further understand the college's development history and educational philosophy.
