Jasmine Chong Shares Her Creative Journey with Hanxin Students
Jasmine Chong recently visited Hanxin College as part of her campus tour, where she shared the stories and inspirations behind her original songs with the students!Jasmine likens the process of musical creation to planting a tree:
An idea is like a seed;
Composing the music and writing the lyrics is akin to constant watering and nurturing;
Eventually, that seed grows into a complete song!
As it turns out, the creative process doesn’t always have to begin with complex concepts—even a simple spark of inspiration can blossom into a moving melody.
During the session, Jasmine not only performed her original songs but also shared demo versions, allowing students to experience the evolution of a song from its initial concept to its final form. Students from the Hanxin Music Course students also showcased their own original works, exchanging creative insights with Jasmine!
